Junior Interior Designer (m/f)
Creative Tourism Industry Ltd. is searching for an organized and motivated individual – a Junior Designer, with or without work experience, who wishes to progress in a fast-growing design studio with a pleasant, modern, and competitive atmosphere. We are looking for a positive and creative person who is eager to learn and enjoys the interior design industry, and who can adapt well to a fast-paced environment. The Junior Designer will contribute to the company’s success by assisting in all aspects of the design process, from selecting furniture, lighting, and decorations, to 3D modeling and 2D technical drawing, preparing meetings with clients, and proposing design solutions. The candidate must be able to work within the existing system and contribute to the creation of new systems. The candidate should be adaptable and capable of functioning successfully in the competitive interior design industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Interior Design or completed training for an interior designer
- Work experience is not required but is an advantage
- Solid proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max or SketchUp
- Adobe Photoshop skills are not required but are an advantage
- Familiarity with rendering software is not required but is an advantage
- Good skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in selecting and specifying furniture, lighting, flooring, carpentry, materials, and decoration is not required but is an advantage
- Experience with the ordering process, handling quotes, and budget awareness is not required but is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of organization
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and a desire for learning and growth alongside the company
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Category B driving license
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently create design concepts for projects based on the senior designer’s vision
- Understand architectural plans and create 3D models, draw 2D room and furniture layouts, lighting schemes, and flooring arrangements, and customize furniture drawings
- Prepare sample boards and mood boards
- General research for project needs and procurement preparation
- Take notes and organize minutes from meetings with clients, assist senior designer in project status monitoring
- Perform occasional coordination and supervision activities on premises and assist in final decoration and furnishing of premises and photography
