In the village of Čovići near Otočac, there is a building which, in functional terms, is a church, built by immigrants after the Homeland War as a gift to the locality. Since it has never functioned as such nor in any other capacity for the town of Otočac, as the project leader, we have developed a conceptual and executive project for the interior design as part of repurposing the building into an interpretation center for the cultural and historical heritage of that region and the Gacka Valley. The space consists of a modern exhibition area, a multimedia presentation space, as well as a space for an association dedicated to preserving traditional crafts, producing traditional clothing items and souvenirs, and reconstructing folk costumes.
